Oxygen with a Side of Baby Calf

My first week at Paracelsus I had some average treatments such as good old o2 and some very bizarre things like injections of  calf juice. Yup thats right...cells from baby cows! I was told years ago that it is best to give up any animal products due to the casein, unnecessary proteins, and all the artificial hormonal additives and now I am being injected with freaken baby cow juice? Let me explain.....

Basically it is a therapy by which specifically selected fresh or live cells of donor animals such as baby cows and sheep, are injected into the muscle ( in my case my thigh).  The fresh cells are from the unborn uterus of the baby animal. The animals are raised in good conditions where they are able to graze the fields and they only eat grass and are not given anything artifical. No harm is done to the animal (good because I dont want no cells from an abused stressed out cow in my body!!!), right after all the organs are developed and the pregnancy is almost completed they simply take fresh organ and tissue particles.

Once injected in the person, or me for that matter it induces a significant change of the immune system and defense mechanism thus stimulating the body’s own healing and revitalizing powers. Fresh cell therapy has a proven high success rate for the treatment of a wide range of diseases. Not only has it been proven to aid in cancer regression but it helps regain youth through improvement in skin tone and complexion, reduction in wrinkles,  and increases energy and thinking power. Some added benefits!! This is similar to the idea of stem cell but is very different from stem cell.

So in nutshell, during my three week stay I will be given a total of ten ampules of fresh cells from a baby cow/goat. Dr. Rau personally gives me these injections. He has the coolest office with beautiful (and very old) Michelangelo style painting on the ceiling and he has, to me what looks like, a chemist labratory that he uses to prepare all of his medicinal concotions (check out below). Fresh cell therapy is beneficial because the fact that cells have a unique ability to identify and link up with cells of the same type result in injected cells travelling around the body until they find and link up with cells of the same "postal code." Hence injected embryonic liver cells will link with liver cells, embryonic spleen cells will link with spleen cells, and so on. The injected fresh young cells then imprint their new and vigour DNA and RNA molecules on the old and degenerating cells (my cells), stimulating them to function properly again and causing the organ to regenerate and revitalize. Crazy huh?

I just hope it doesnt have some crazy side effect like my babies being born walking on all fours and developing black and white spots as they grow older. LOL....just kidding. Imagine? That would be pretty scary. Or maybe I will start to moo or something?! The concept is very old and has been used for awhile but it is rarely used. It is illegal all over the world basically...except for here in Switzerland and I think in Mexico. Wow....where the hell else will this journey take me?

I wonder where my fresh cell donor is?!

As for the more normal o2 that we all heard of, I get that several times a week. My live blood analysis on the micoscope (not this visit but past tests) show that my cells are starving for oxygen. Every thing in our body and our life depends on oxygen, if we dont have it illnesses began to form.

Ionized oxygen therapy that I get here is inhaling negatively charged oxygen ions which quickly neutralize harmful pathogens, diseases, & ions in the body. Oxygen transforms stored energy of the sun (that we get from good quality food) into the energy rich phosphates. Diverse functions of the human organism need this phosphate energy and therefore are dependent on oxygen! Hence the reason deep breathing and exercise are so important!

Reduced oxygen supply to the cells leads to a decrease in energy gain and thus to various illnesses. This can reuslt in anything from concentration disturbances to immune weakness to cancer.  They say that without oxygen we could die in about 6 minutes!!!!!!!! That goes to show you how critical it is.

Peace and Oxygen

This long and windy journey through cancers hills and valleys has been quite fascinating.Yes, cancer SuCkS.... but I do love all the learning that Im getting along the way.

One Week Down 2 More to Go!

I survived my first week at Paracelsus and to be honest I enjoyed every minute of it. Everything about being here feels so right.  I had many treatments that I don't have access to back home in NY.  It was, for sure,  a long week of many different treatments including infusions to magnetic field therapy.

In this week alone I had four infusions which include  high dose of vitamin C along with a cocktail of many other vitamins, medicines, minerals, and essential fatty acids. The infusions are ok for the most part, however they could be tedious somewhat because I have horrible veins. Due to my lymph node dissection we could only use the veins on my left arm so that limits it a bit.The drips are painless, however, they make me tired and super thristy (thats the vitamin C for ya!).

Me getting an infusion

I also had ozone therapy where they take a decent amount of my blood out add Ozone to it and some medicine, shake it up and than put it back in my body intravenously.  Ozone addresses key issues such as oxygen delivery, circulation, and immune system function. It also detoxifies the body and stimulates the metabolism. It is found to be very effective in helping tumor progression.

Magnetic field therapy is another treatment I had. The magnetic field's energy regulates all living processes on earth, therefore the magnetic resistance of the body's cells and the flowing of vital energies within the body depend on magnetic fields. These magnetic fields penetrate each cell resulting in the ions being moved  in this frequency. This results in improving cell metabolism. The cells, tissue, organs, and bone all benefit from this treatment.

Magnetic Field Therapy

These are just a quarter of the treatments I received this week. Luckily  the treatments mentioned above are those that we do have access to in the states. The others that we dont have have access to I will blog about in the upcoming days.

Since it's the weekend Im free from the klinik until Monday. I guess there is time for some adventures in Switzerland :)

Biological Medicine

It is for biological medicine that I have chosen to travel to Switzerland. Biological medicine is an approach to health and illness that is based on engaging the body in a way that stimulates the body's innate ability to heal itself. At first the obstacles and stressors that the body is facing must be identified and then from there the idea is to remove these obstacles by providing the body with whatever it is in need of. This could be anywhere from vitamins to minerals to oxygen.

It is in this post that I will speak about the diagnostics and the point of biological medicine that identifies the body's stressors. Our blood not only tells a story about what we have been through in the past but also paints a picture about what is going on currently in our systems. An extensive blood work up is first and foremost and that shows endless amounts of information about our body. Some of which includes showing vitamins, essential acids and minerals that the body may have to much or too little of, how our immune system in working, and how our ratio of white and red blood cells is.

My Blood Test

Back at home in NY my natropath indicated that I did not have blood of a typical cancer patient. She found that I had low vitamin d and a few other things but nothing that was critical and nothing that showed signs to cancer. So given this I was interested in what Dr. Rau here in Switzerland would have to say about my blood. He too was surprised as again was shocked because he expected to see worse markers in my blood work given my diagnosis  of stage IV cancer. However there are still things that I need to work on regarding my blood test...its far from perfect. However im fortunate that it is not an example of a "typical cancer patient's'" blood work. I give this credit to Cellect (all natural supplement loaded with necessary vitmains and minerals). If my blood looks okay something must be working....right?!

Live blood cell analysis (aka Dark Field)

I suggest that everyone research this and look into getting it done for themselves. It is a remarkable test that involves a tiny non- invasive pin prick on the finger tip to extract a few drops of blood. The living blood is placed under a microscope, magnified by 20,000 times and projected onto a video screen. This enables us to see how our blood is behaving. Unlike normal blood work, which is tested when the blood is dead and not nearly as telling, dark field shows the immune system activity, yeast, fungus mold, cholesterol, hormonal imbalances, sugar intolerances, allergies, mineral deficiencies, mycotoxins, parasites, gastro-intestinal tract dysfunction and alot of other complications within our system. It is AMAZING!!! Im definatley addicted. Below is live a picture from when I got mine done here 2 days ago. Again, my blood was surprising as it did not look as though it did not look of blood with someone with cancer. She mentioned signs of degenerative disease which is interesting because the hip cancer that I used to have is now being noted as degenerative disease. The cells looked ok since they were circles (my very first test all the circles were stuck together almost like a roll of sprees (called rouleaux which is not good). Also the signs of the big white spots which are white blood cells is good. Those spider web veiny looking things are not ideal and need to be addressed.

Ultra Sound

I had an ordinary ultrasound which showed the tumors on my liver, spleen, and in my right lymph node. All areas were consistent with my last scan for the most part...no growth and no decrease in size. I guess thats bitter sweet as Im happy they did not grow in size but wish that they would disappear or at least shrink in size. There was mention of necrotic (which means DEAD tissue which = AMAZING) but it was unclear so we will see as the weeks progress.

Panaromic dental xray

Why may you ask does this have anything to do with disease or cancer. Biological dentistry believes that what goes on in the mouth effects the whole body, therefore they look at the teeth at a whole body stand point rather just then what is going on in the mouth. Often conventional dentistry uses amalgam fillings which are completely toxic and wreak havoc in the body. Also root canals are a perfect location for fungus and other bacteria to be trapped and hang out. This causes extreme stresses to the body. Many studies are being done showing the direct connection between metal fillings/root canals to cancers, especially breast cancer. Unfortunatley I always had problems with my teeth resulting in many amalgam fillings and one root canal. Most of my metal has been removed by my conventional dentist however I still have some teeth with metal. Who knows if the removal caused mercury to leak into my system because apparently there is a very specific way to go about this to ensure the metal does not leak out into the body. Also the combination of all different metals result in a specific charge which may be seriously effecting the body in a negative way. Anyways, my panaromic xray below shows inflammation in several teeth and silver in others. Interestingly enough the meridians of the teeth also effect certain meridians of the body and in my case my most effcted tooth is connected to the spleen, the area where I have my largest tumor. Pretty interesting huh? During my stay here I will have to have the tooth with the root canal pulled out and cleaned thouroughly. The other teeth I will have to have serious work done on.  They have state of the art equipment here and guru biological dentists so I am confidant to get the work done.

This is not the only diagnostic testing I will be having when Im  here but thus far this is what has been done. This helped Dr. Rau and his team better understand how to proceed with my condition. 20 people can come here with the same diagnosis of stage IV melanoma but none will be treated with the same protocol.....that is biological medicine. I already had some pretty amazing and interesting treatments. I will blog about a few of them tomorrow.

Adventure in Switzerland ....and not for chocolate or watches ;)

I always had the desire to visit Switzerland in my lifetime but who would ever thought that a diagnosis of cancer would be the reason for my visit. Especially when I live in America.... the health capitol of the world. I always thought that europeans came to America for the state of the art treatment and I was about to embark on this journay to europe for treatment? Strange huh? Truth is not strange at all.

On January 24th my mother and I embarked on our journey to find the best of biological medicine. Dr. Stills, my natropath back at home in NY suggested I come here to Switzerland to fight the cancer more aggressively and from a more systemic perspective. Initially the thought of traveling so far and the cost deferred me and then I decided that I am sick of these annoying freaken tumors and I want them gone and gone for good. I did my research and found alot of success stories and decided to just take Dr. Stills advice and come to Switzerland. :)

So here we  are in Switzerland! Besides the beautiful snowy white country side here in Teufen and LustmuhIe I am surrounded by amazing therapies and treatments that we would never or rarely come by in the States. The klinik is Paracelsus and it is a quaint and calming four story building with colorful and vibrant art. Throughout the building are beautiful flowers such as orchids and tulips and the sound of the decorative water fountains. There is a tea station and a water station where you could have herbal teas and pure alkaline water. The Swiss people are very comforting and helpful in helping me through the treatments and despite their broken English they are happy to strike up conversation. Most interesting, is that the owner and director of the klinik, Dr Rau, author of the book Swiss Secret, has already met with me personally 2 times and I have only been here for 2 days. He himself treats me and gives me several different advanced biological treatments. Despite his status and busy schedule he still meets with his patients, especially those with the advanced cancers/diseases. He could easily assign these cases to his other professional staff and focus on the research and training but he is dedicated in making it a priority to meet with his patients first hand. Its very comforting that I am meeting with the source, the one who is researching and creating alot of these remedies.

We are staying in Hotel Santis several miles away from the klinik.  Dr. Rau, the director of the klinik, owns this hotel and provided his patients with an alkaline based diet, fresh drinking water, comfy, yet typical small European rooms. The food is really good as it is all whole foods and they use nothing processed. The food is cooked and for me this is a real treat since I have been on mostly a raw diet back at home. They also allow goat and sheep cheese on the "cancer diet." Yum! My taste buds went crazy after having some cheese as this has been a real limited part of my diet for months now. The hotel is run by a couple, Christian and Irene, who are very sweet and extremely helpful. So all in all it is all very conventient.

Keep posted as I will journal my experience through these very intense and unique treatments and diagnostic tests throughout my three week stay here at Paracelsus.

In a Nut SheLL

In 2000 after getting a pre college physical, my primary doc referred me to a dermatologist to get a strange looking beauty mark checked out. Dr orders...I went right to the dermatologist thinking that it would be nothing. The Dermatologist also did not like the looks of it and decided to cut it out and get it tested. Sure enough it was stage 1 melanoma. Young and naive I had no idea the seriousness of it until i did a little research and realized melanoma = cancer. I had a wide excision surgery where they took the cancer and a big chunk that surrounded it out. I went on to college and continued on with my life. I was careful in the sun and I always had my SPF. And of course I went to the dermatologist every 6 months to get a full body exam. Through out the years I had multiple precancerous beauty marks that had to be removed. Getting scraped and nicked every time I went to the skin doctor became the norm.

In Jan 2009 while checking out my new and improved arms ( I was working out alot during that time) from my gym routine, I noticed a large lump under my arm. I completely freaked out. I'll never forget it my parents were at their condo in Florida and Mike (my boyfriend at the time) was at work. I called Mike in hysterics. I just knew it was related to the melanoma 9 years ago. I made an appointment right away and sure enough it was stage III melanoma. As strong as I am I was in shock and scared. I didn't know how things were going to turn out. I knew that melanoma was one of those cancers that they have not made much headway with as of yet. Within weeks I was scheduled for a lymph node dissection. The surgery was not that bad. The pain killers were more of the issue....they made me emotional and have me more stomach issues then I already had. Out of the 18 or something lymph nodes removed 1 was only effected but it was large in size. Due to this I was a candidate for radiation to my right auxilla( where the enlarged lymph node was found). Lucky me....off to radiation I went. All I could think was wow this is not bad at all. Couple of seconds under a beam of lights and boom your done. And then moths later it hit me.....I began feeling exhausted and had trouble moving my shoulder. Between the lymph node dissection and radiation I developed HORRIBLE frozen shoulder. Despite all the cancer being "gone" my doctors suggested Interferon to prevent the melanoma from coming back. Sure why not? Anything to prevent it from coming back. I went every day for a month (lucky me weekends off) for interferon IV. During it I was a fighter but hindsight it was horrible. The weakness, chills, and fevers were unbearable. My body hurt so much and all that energy that used to beam off of me slowly dwindled. My hair began falling out in clumps despite being told by my doctor that it wont effect my hair. I was so happy when the month was up. At this point it was about April 09 and I was trying to get my energy back and get on with my life. Oh did I forgot to mention that on top of radiation, surgeries and drugs my boyfriend of 8 years proposed. So I was also trying to plan a wedding during all this craziness.

February 2010, I was finally starting to feel better. My scans thus far have not shown any new spots and things were looking okay. Then BAM my February scan came back showing tumors in my spleen and hip bone. F**k ...not again!!!!!!!!!!!! I defiatley got the "why me" blues at this point. I officially decided I hated February.  The doctors at Sloan Kettering threw every option possible at me. Time to research and see how I was going to proceed. Then I went to acupuncture for my horrid frozen shoulder and my acupuncturist informed me of a product (will talk about in later posts) that I must try that has very good success with reversing people's cancer. I got this product and took it religiously. Sure I was a skeptic but reading all the literature and speaking to people who it actually worked for was hopeful and I figured it was worth giving it a try. I told my doctor and he thought I was crazy and tried to put his "this is serious" face on in hopes that it would change my mind.  It didn't...it was a scary decision but something told me it was the right one. From their I just kept on coming across more and more holistic natural means to fight cancer. I began seeing a natropath, Dr. Sharon Stills, and I was getting vitamin c IV, mistletoe injections, B12 shots, taking handfuls and handfuls of supplements, I was on a strict diet and finally feeling better. I had great energy, my hair was growing back, and I was actually back at the gym able to feel energized during a workout.

Summer 2010, with my wedding approaching (September 5) and still having "spots" I got scared and decided to do it all. I continued the natural stuff and signed on for the clinical trial of ipilimumab. I read alot about this drug and it looked as though it was the "in" drug that was showing good results. I figured I would give it a try. I sat for the drug 4 times intravenously. This was another drug that initially I didn't feel a thing and then weeks passed and I got horrible diarrhea and months passed and my energy was zapped. I'm still very tired and achy and I believe it is from taking the "ipi." If I had to rewind a couple of months I don't think I would have taken it.

Currently my scans are mixed....some areas went away completely, other remained the same, and 2 got slightly larger. I decided to step up my "A" game and really start researching and doing whatever I had to in order to make this melanoma go away. If other people did it I could totally do it. And this, my friends,  is what the remainder of my blog will be about.

Sorry....this was one big nut shell of my background. :)
